Tevez Make up your mind!

I am sure you all know that Argentinian and Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez handed in a transfer request. If that wasn't enough to turn City fans against him the fact that he wants to leave is one thing but wanting to leave for Manchester United that's not going to go down well with Manchester City fans at all. Man City told Tevez that he will play out his contract which ends in 2011.

The 26-year-old striker declared that his relationship with 'certain executives and individuals' had broken down beyond repair and he was angered by suggestions from City that he had been influenced by his long-term adviser Kia Joorabchian.

But Roberto  Mancini said "It's very important for everyone that Carlos stayed. It was easy to keep Carlos as the captain. I'm not worried about tonight, I think he'll have a good game. It's an important game for us and for him, but they are all important games at the moment."

Tevez may have said he wants to leave he has withdrawn his transfer request. It seems 1 minute he is desperate to leave and the next he expressed his desire to stay!

The saga looked set to drag on, with City adamant that they would not sell their star player in the January transfer window when he still had three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract.
Discussions have since taken place in an effort to resolve the matter and City have released a statement on their official website to verify that Tevez is now happy to stay.

"Manchester City can confirm to its fans that 'clear the air' talks have been held with Carlos Tevez," read the statement.

"During the meeting Carlos expressed his absolute commitment to the club and formally withdrew his transfer request.

Let me know what think about this story and please tell me how you feel about Carlos Tevezs attitude towards his place at City. (City Fans Especially)

Blackburn sack Allardyce.

Blackburn have sacked manager Sam Allardyce.I assume the new owners want a different style of manager because Allardyce isn't known for his attractive football . This has come as a bit of a shock to me considering he is a very experienced manager and could have turned it around. The reason behind the sacking was due to 3 losses in 5 games including a 2-1 loss to his former club Bolton. "I am very shocked and disappointed to be leaving Blackburn," said Allardyce.
"I am extremely proud to have managed this club and I enjoyed a fantastic relationship with the players, my staff and the supporters during my time in charge. "I now wish them and the football club every success for the future,"  Allardyce added.  Blackburn are 13th in the league and 5 points clear of the relegation zone. In my opinion it is a race for the job between Jol, O'Neill or Hughton.

Please comment and let me know what you think about the subject!

Pardew New Toon Manager

When I first saw the headlines that Newcastle had sacked Hughton I coudn't believed it Hughton gone! And then I assumed they would appoint Jol or O'Neill but again I was wrong as Mike Ashley surprised me again.

I think Pardew was another mistake, yes it was a good win against Liverpool but Liverpool aren't a top 4 team so it's not a surprising win for me. Don't get me wrong I'm not anti-Newcastle..... I'm anti-Mike Ashley.
Pardew is a good manager but is not up to the standard of managing a team in the Premiership.

My prediction, Newcastle will finish lower with Pardrew than where they would have if they kept Hughton.

Please comment on the subject and let me know what you think about this decision.

Newcastle Sack Hughton

Big mistake in my opinion Hughton was a great manager and connected with all his players. I think West Brom was a poor loss and Hughton is reported to have had a go at his players but it wasn't enough to sack him. I'm just wondering who is going to take his place and how they are going to settle in. It may be hard for the Newcastle players especially Carroll who really connected with Houghton and will find his loss very poorly.

Kevin Nolan described himself as 'gutted, surprised and shocked' by the decision. Ex Newcastle forward Peter Beardsly has taken over on an interm basis. Beardsly was a great player but i think could end up like Alan Shearer and won't be able to do the job.

Let me know who you think should take over and give me your thoughts on the subject.

Unpredictable Premiership

More surprises in the Premiership. I expected Blackpool to go down and be very far off staying up but Halloway surprised me again I think Blackpool could actually stay up and I think it's amazing to think a team favourites to be in League 1 are looking like they could finish mid-table maybe 13th or 14th.

Bolton have also surprised me being 4th in the league and they don't look like there going to loose there grip on the position. Owen Coyle is doing a great job and is turning that team around. Bolton are playing like the struggle to keep a stable mid-table position was decades ago.

What I want to know is who do you think will finish 4th?

Who Will go down? And

Where will Bolton come? Please comment and/or answer the any of the questions.

Will Wenger lose the Premiership for Arsenal?

Arsene Wenger is clearly a great manager but will his reluctancy to buy a keeper lose Arsenal the league. Arsenal are obviously 1 of the best footballing teams around but he should have signed Shay Given when he had the chance. Look at any other succesful teams they all have decent keepers.Man Utd maybe getting old but Van Der Sar is still good good, Chelsea Petr Cech again good Madrid Casillias and Barcelona Valdes half decent.

I think Wenger should maybe give Schezny a chance because he looked better than Almunia, Fabianski and Mannone. Even if it was only 1 game against Newcastle in the League Cup.
